If you’re staying in Lincoln over Easter you might be wondering how to fill the time. I’ve found a few Easter events you can get involved in during the two-week break to cure the boredom!

Easter Trail: Spring Flowers

When: 1st-16th of April, 9am-6pm
Where:
Whisby Nature Park

If you’re looking for something that’ll get you out of the house, why not try the Easter Trail at Whisby nature park. It’s completely free and family-friendly, so you could go with your flatmates or bring your family if they’re visiting. You can find out more, including directions to the events on their website.

Pottery Painting

Pottery painting is a very spring-like activity, and you can always make it Easter themed by painting things like flowers, easter eggs and lambs! It’s a great way to relax while we have some time off uni, and The Little Pottery Studio in St Marks has a very calm and positive environment. You can find out more and book a table here.

Easter Activity Trail at Belvoir Trail

When: 1st – 10th of April
Cost: £10 per adult

From the 1st to the 10th of April you can do the Easter Activity Trail at Belvoir Trail for £10 per adult. You’ll be able to wander through the grounds and solve Easter puzzles while looking at all the beautiful flowers and scenery, and after that, you can visit the shops on-site. You can find out more about the event here.

Dino Dig

When: 1st – 16th of April
Where: Cornhill Quarter

If you love dinosaurs, why not check out the Dino Dig event going on during the Easter Break. The city will be full of dinosaur-themed events and Lush are even getting involved on the 1st, 8th and 15th! There are dinosaur sculptures around the city, and if you check in at them all you are within the chance of winning a prize! Find out more about the event here.
