Life After Uni

Coming to the end of your studies can be an exciting time; you might also feel nervous about the transition – don’t worry we are here to help!

Here is some key information from the University and Students’ Union to help you in the final few weeks of your studies and beyond.

Keep in touch!

As a university, we’re keen to keep in touch with you and connect you with our community of alumni. We also share regular updates, specific to our graduates, about early career planning and job opportunities.

To make sure you don’t miss out, please update your contact details before you complete your studies.

Careers & Employability

The Careers Centre is based on the ground floor of library and is open
9am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday
You can also access the services anytime at https://uolcareers.co.uk/.
We also offer careers support for up two years after you complete your studies.

Student Support and Student Wellbeing

For further support, book an appointment with the Advice Service by emailing studentsupport@lincoln.ac.uk.
You can also find out about out of hours mental health support or see our list of local and national wellbeing support services.

University Library

Make sure to return all books by 1st July – they can be posted if needed.

You can still visit the library over the summer, and you can access the printers, whilst your print account is still active.

We would advise using comparison websites such as USwitch, Compare the Market or GoCompare to find the best price and a suitable option on home and contents insurance.

You can also speak with your bank providers as they may offer insurance deals.
