The party doesn’t have to stop after you’ve had your ceremony, and if you’ve got family and friends travelling to see you graduate, you’ll probably want to keep the fun going. Lincoln has loads of great places to go to after your ceremony and there’s something for everyone, but depending on the time that your ceremony is some of the following venues may be closed. It’s always a good idea to check and book beforehand.

Restaurants

There are some great restaurants you can go to with family and friends that will cater to most budgets and dietary requirements. You can use this as a chance to sit with your loved ones and talk about your favourite memories from university, and truly celebrate what you’ve achieved.

£ – Slow Rise

If you love pizza and don’t want to spend much money, Slow Rise is one of the best places you can go! They’re open late most nights and you can book a table online to secure a place on the day of your graduation. At just an 8-minute walk from the Cathedral, you can enjoy Neapolitan-style pizza and delicious tiramisu for dessert.

££ – Ole Ole Tapas Bar & Restaurant

For a mid-range price, you can enjoy the fantastic food served at Ole Ole. If you want authentic Spanish tapas and paella, this is the perfect restaurant to go to, as the owners have 10 years of experience in providing just that. You can’t book a place online, so seating cannot be assured, however, I’d recommend giving them a call to see if you can reserve a table!

£££ – Washingborough Hall Hotel

For somewhere a bit more traditional, you could book a place at the Washingborough Hall Hotel, which serves a variety of delicious foods throughout the day. Although there is no official dress code, they request that you dress to impress during your visit to uphold the traditional ambience of the restaurant and hotel.

Activities

You may find yourself full of energy after your graduation, wanting to do something a little more involved than sitting down for a meal. If this sounds like your cup of tea, there are many places you could consider going in Lincoln with your friends or family!

Arcade Warehouse

What better way to end your time at uni than spending two hours playing retro and modern games with your loved ones? It’s a great way to have some laughs and create some final uni memories before heading home. You can also grab food and refreshments while you’re there, and if you have young siblings or children coming to your graduation, it’ll be a great way to keep them entertained! You can book a slot online on their website.

Jump Inc

If you really want to tire everyone out after your ceremony, head over to Jump Inc to let some of that energy out. Full of trampolines and inflatables, you can be guaranteed to create some lovely memories with your family and friends on your graduation day. You can book a slot online on their website.

Coffee Cats

For the best of both worlds, you can grab a coffee and a bite to eat with your loved ones while being surrounded by cats! If you haven’t yet had the chance to go through your time here, I’d highly recommend adding this to your graduation day schedule. You can book a slot online on their website.
