In celebration of local food, farming and the countryside, the Lincolnshire Show will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

The Show provides the following

  • A live cooking show in the Lincolnshire Kitchen
  • Locally sourced and produced food in the Food Court
  • Local and handmade arts and crafts in the Lincolnshire Lifestyle Marquee
  • Entertainment in the Main Ring and aviation storytelling in the Aviation Zone

Harry Potter Book Night

Calling all Harry Potter fans!

Lincoln Central Library is hosting a Harry Potter Book Night on June 25th to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the book series.

The event is free to attend and Harry Potter costumes are encouraged.

Fans will be able to craft their own wand, make potions, play games, and more.

There will be a prize for the best dressed.

Rag N Bone Man Concert

Rag N Bone Man known for hits such as ‘Human’ and ‘Giants’ will be performing at the Lincolnshire Showground on the 3rd of July.

Cornhill Cove Crazy Golf

If you’ve been on the high street recently then you might have noticed the Cornhill Cove already.

Located where the iconic winter Thor tent used to be, the Cove offers a free crazy golf course, food and drink stands and live entertainment.

The best part is that there’s no need to book, just show up during its opening hours to enjoy.

Feel Good Summer Programme

For those who are looking to stay fit and active, this programme allows students to play and try out different sports for free such as badminton, volleyball, tennis and cricket.

The Once Upon A Time Quest At Lincoln Castle

From the 23rd of June to the 26th of August, Lincoln Castle will be hosting fun mini-quests.

Upon arrival, pick up a quest sheet.

The quest sheet contains puzzles and clues to help you find a series of keys scattered around the premises.

Each key will unlock a different story about the castle’s past history.

The winner will successfully discover and collect all 6 hidden keys.

The Once Upon A Time Quest costs just £2 and is available between 10am and 5pm.

Lincoln Castle Afterhours

On selected Fridays this summer, Lincoln Castle will open its doors to visitors wanting to explore the grounds after hours.

Visitors can also head to the castle walls for a walk around the grounds.

The Wall Walk is available between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

Here are the available dates for the Afterhours Tour :

  • Friday 15th July
  • Friday 29th July
  • Friday 19th August

Tickets are priced at £10.50 for adults.

Lincoln Castle Afterhours session has already held one session, and it is already proving to be highly popular, so do book tickets in advance.
